Bonus Podcast #2: Wrath of the Wild (Part 1)

Hey people!

As we wrap up the Godsfall Worldbook, we are also working on our bonus episodes and planning our online worldbuilding courses for our top-level Kickstarter backers! As soon as I have the .pdf in everyone's hands we will contact you individually to schedule the sessions.

The cast of The Dungeon Rats joined me for these bonus Kickstarter episodes as we dive back into the Ironwood to find out what the arisen God of Speed Aramil has been up to since he was separated from his protege, Rina.

Godsfall Worldbook Update

Hey, people! Here is where are as of tonight: 

With the help of Kraken Print, we have figured out how to print both the books and the World Maps and are locking down a timetable to get them printed, delivered, packaged and shipped. We are also working with BackerKit to setup a final fulfillment store that will allow Kickstarter backers to do the following:

• Confirm their address for physical shipments and their email for digital shipments.
• Upgrade their original pledges (if they choose) at the original Kickstarter prices.
• Once all of our Kickstarter backers are accounted for, we will open up the BackerKit store for pre-orders as we prepare the Worldbook hardcovers for shipment (Kickstarter backers get their orders filled and shipped first).
• We are very near completion of the .pdf and are going over final edits now. Here is a preview of the long awaited Divinites section of the Worldbook (pdf download), an explanation of how those divinities work in a D&D game, and the abilities of the God of Fire.

Here is a quick audio preview of the God of the Sun's top level ability: Supernova.

The second I am sure the Worldbook is fully edited and wrapped I will be releasing the .pdf to everyone. I know this has taken much longer than I anticipated and I truly appreciate the patience you all have shown. It has been quite a learning experience for me, and being diagnosed with sudden onset rheumatoid arthritis smack in the middle of production has not helped matters.

I can promise you it'll be worth the wait and that I am taking the time to ensure this book is as perfect as I can possibly make it. Thank you for your support.

Godsfall Worldbook Countdown

Hello people!

As we finalize, print and ship the Godsfall Worldbook, I’ll be posting often to keep everyone in the loop of exactly where we are in the process of fulfilling our Kickstarter pledges and getting your books and maps to you so we can all adventure in the world of Khalgun!

• Layout: The Races, History, People and Magic Items chapters are wrapped and in final review. My editors are tackling the massive Divinities section now to weed out any final bugs or errors, and as soon as they are done we have the layout ready for the text. Once we are sure we have this right, the .PDF will immediately go out to all backers. 
• Printer: My brother and I are meeting with our printer (Kraken Print) June 2nd so we can schedule printing and shiping the hardcover editions and maps. As soon as we have that locked down, I’ll post the timetable here. 
• Into the Ironwood: We have the first draft of our first Godsfall adventure written and playtested, and once the Worldbook is wrapped and on its way I will record and edit the audio tracks and lay out all the bonus maps and artwork every backer will be getting for FREE!

While we are getting ready to print, we ask all backers to log into Kickstarter and check to make sure their address is updated and correct by doing the following:

• Log in to your Kickstarter account
• Select your profile icon at the top right corner and you should see a drop down menu appear.
• Select “Backed Projects” on the left hand side.
• Then select the Godsfall Worldbook project.
• On the next page, click on “Survey” which is located between the “Reward” tab and the “Messages” tab

Godsfall Worldbook pages, art and a new Kickstarter backer bonus

Hey people!

Final design and layout of the book is in progress. In addition to the book preview, we also have a gallery of original Worldbook art on display at godsfall.com/Worldbook and will post continuous updates both here and on our website as we prepare the Worldbook, maps and character sheets for print.

In additional to the original races, Divinities, maps, artwork, magic items, creatures and optional rules of the Worldbook, Kickstarter backers will be receiving a free .pdf of the first official Godsfall supplement: Into the Ironwood.

In this adventure, you’ll follow Aramil and a band of highly-skilled Elven Guardians as they search for the reason behind the rash of intrusions by Yeti descending from the Spine of the World. The adventure includes original maps, character sheets and art detailing the woods and mountains of Brenus’s Northern Peninsula.

We’ll be recording every paragraph of descriptive text as full audio clips with the same production and sound effects as the podcast and you'll get a preview of how that will sound in Godsfall: Episode 56.

Worldbook Design Update

Hello people!

I've been really solid progress over the past few weeks and solved all the remaining problems and holes we had to fill. The last bit of our art has been received and scanned in, and is currently being worked into the rest of the design.

I wanted to share a quick preview of the cover as well as some (still needing a good bit of editing) pages.

We're getting close! As soon as I have a .pdf to share you'll have a special download code sent out through Kickstarter. I'll also be starting surveys next week for our higher level backers, including NPC names and other details so I can get those wrapped as well

And thank you again for your patience. I can't wait for you all to see how good this is getting :)
